These beautiful hammocks are 100% cotton, handmade by villagers of El Progreso, El Salvador. Currently we have 4 weavers: Rigo, Carmen, Juana, and Estela. Each hammock comes equiped with a nylon rope (also handmade by the weavers) to make set-up more convenient.Choose from our large selection of colors, or if we do not have exactly what you are looking for we can special order the hammock.

Estela displays her handiwork

Rigo and wife, Carmen, demonstrate the art of hammock weaving

These hammocks are extremely soft, and very strong, made for one person, but double wide hammocks can be special-ordered.

We are no longer offering hammocks for sale.

Set your hammock up between two trees, in basement, in apartment or home
(use metal hooks that screw into wall studs), on porches, etc...

Adam is a big guy. He says, "If it is strong enough to hold me, then it must be strong."
Hang it in your apartment...

Hang it in your living room... ...hook it on the wall when not in use.
Hang it on the porch...
...hang it between trees.
